The Royal We brings us a track that sounds like an homage to Green Velvet with a chunky bass line and spoken vocals that call out that one person you always run into. Wait...is he talking about me after my 6th drink? Surely not. I'm not guilty. The party is not my life, I have a life and I think about other things. Lather, rinse, repeat.

You might've noticed kolt13 tracks featured in both of my previous two posts. In the last few months there's been an increasing amount of attention placed upon French producer kolt13. The electronic noises mashed together in his remixes and original tracks all exhibit a certain grittiness; the juxtaposition of harsher undertones with smooth synths in combination with excellent production results in some really great tracks.

Night by Night

I really love Chromeo's new track Night by Night along with the official remixes by Siriusmo Skream, all of which can be downloaded on Green Label Sound.

Kolt13's remix strips away most of the original track and replaces it with a dirty tech house sound.

Tremulance's remix retains more of the original feeling of the track however screaming guitars are replaced with smoother, almost dreamy, synths.
